The Feed and Tack Barn has been trading since January 2022 and is very much a family run business. It is owned by Sandra who had been working in the equestrian retail industry for about 20 years before she decided to take the plunge and set up The Feed and Tack Barn. Before working in retail, Sandra worked with horses in a number of disciplines which has given her a broad range of knowledge. She is helped by her partner Andrew who, although not a horsey person, has been mucking in and helping since day one. You will often see Andrew loading customers cars on his days off from his proper job!
Megan, her youngest daughter, works in the shop full time, is the website 'guru' and has been involved with horses all of her life. Katy, her eldest daughter, helps out with the website by putting on seasonal and core items and has her own horses, Cody and Scary.
The shop is mainly equestrian based but also caters for pet owners and smallholders and, as a new store, is constantly looking for new items to stock, so the range is growing all the time. If they don't stock something that you would like, then they will always do their best to source it for you.
With a wealth of experience between them there is always someone who will do their best to help you with any questions or problems you may face, and if they don't know the answer they will find somebody who does!
